Oleksandra Korobka

Oleksandra Korobka is a Ukrainian opera and symphonic conductor with an international career, as well as the founder of international artistic initiatives. Her work brings together artistic excellence, cultural diplomacy, and contemporary artistic leadership, connecting musicians from different countries through shared creative vision and meaningful international collaboration.

A central focus of her work is creating new opportunities for the professional development of women in classical music. Through her international initiatives, she fosters artistic collaboration, supports professional growth, and creates new career pathways for female musicians.

Oleksandra graduated from the Ukrainian National Tchaikovsky Academy of Music, where she studied opera and symphonic conducting under Professor Vadym Hnedash. She further refined her conducting skills under the guidance of internationally renowned conductors Colin Metters (United Kingdom), Steven Sloane (USA–Israel), and Johannes Schlaefli (Switzerland). She is also a graduate of the Italian Academy of Opera Conducting in Milan.

Throughout her career, Oleksandra has collaborated with leading orchestras and opera houses across Ukraine and Europe, including the Polish National Opera, Stuttgart Opera, Kraków Opera, the National Philharmonic of Ukraine, Vienna Beethoven Orchestra, Athens Philharmonia Orchestra, Bucharest Symphony Orchestra, Lithuanian State Symphony Orchestra, Orchestra Filarmonica Italiana, Kyiv Camerata, Dnipro Philharmonic Orchestra, and others.

At the heart of Oleksandra’s artistic work is the symphonic and operatic repertoire, where she combines a profound understanding of the score with emotional expressiveness and a contemporary approach to musical interpretation. Her conducting is distinguished by precision, energy, and the ability to unite musicians around a shared artistic vision, creating compelling and memorable musical performances.

Oleksandra is the founder of Queens Orchestra, an international women’s symphony orchestra that brings together outstanding female musicians from different countries while creating new opportunities for their professional development and international collaboration. She is also the creator and conductor of the Federal Ukrainian Orchestra, an international project that unites musicians through Ukrainian culture, artistic dialogue, and shared European values.

As a conductor and creator of international artistic initiatives, Oleksandra believes that music is not only an art form but also a powerful instrument of cultural diplomacy, international dialogue, and social impact. Her projects foster international collaboration, support emerging talent, and contribute to shaping a new generation of leaders in classical music.

Today, Oleksandra Korobka regularly appears as a guest conductor across Europe, leads international artistic projects, and represents Ukraine on prestigious concert stages, combining artistic excellence with a commitment to cultural dialogue and international cooperation.
